The Combo version includes an improved intelligent tracking module that helps keep your chosen subject framed with precision, plus a DJI wide-grip electronic handle that mounts to the NATO port without tools. With built-in joystick and control buttons, it offers intuitive operation for both the gimbal and your camera.

Fast setup, smooth balancing

Teflon™ layers reduce friction during balancing, making it easier to fine-tune even heavier camera setups with millimeter-level precision. Second-generation automatic axis locks and the new quick-open tripod help you move from carrying to shooting in seconds.

Professional stabilization for demanding shoots

With a payload capacity of 3 kg, the DJI RS 5 Combo supports many popular mirrorless cameras and lenses. The latest RS stabilization algorithm delivers smoother handheld results, including when shooting vertically. A new Z-axis indicator provides instant feedback so you can adjust your steps for steadier footage.

Switch formats in seconds

Thanks to the third-generation native vertical shooting design, you can move between horizontal and vertical content quickly, without extra accessories. You can also switch the joystick behavior between zoom and gimbal control, or choose from Pan Follow, Pan & Tilt Follow, and FPV modes. The dual-layer quick-release plates are compatible with both Manfrotto and Arca standards, so moving from gimbal to tripod is simple and rebalancing is minimized.

Long shooting time and fast charging

The battery charges fully in about one hour, up to 60% faster than before, so you can get back to filming sooner. The standard battery offers up to 14 hours of runtime, with even longer operation possible when using an optional battery grip.

Expanded Bluetooth shutter support

In addition to Sony, Canon, and Nikon cameras, the RS 5 now supports select Panasonic and Fujifilm models through Bluetooth shutter control. That means you can manage shutter, zoom, and Clear Image Zoom wirelessly.

Tracking and control for creative shooting

The improved smart tracking module helps the RS 5 follow your subject smoothly and keep it accurately framed after you select a person, vehicle, pet, or other subject on the gimbal touchscreen. It is ideal for orbit shots, rear tracking, and solo operation from a fixed position.

The wide-grip electronic handle attaches to the NATO port without tools and gives you direct access to gimbal and camera controls. Its built-in cold shoe and 1/4"-20 mounting point also make it easy to connect an external monitor, improving low-angle operation and on-set monitoring.
