The H&Y RevoRing MKII Video Kit builds on the original RevoRing concept with a smarter, more secure design for photographers and filmmakers who want one flexible system for multiple lenses. By replacing the hassle of separate step-up rings, it streamlines your workflow and helps you switch between setups faster.
At the core of the MKII is a variable retractable blade system that adapts to different lens diameters. A new locking mechanism with an added safety button improves grip and stability, helping keep everything firmly in place even during active shooting.
Designed for Creative Flexibility
This kit is made to integrate smoothly with H&Y's RevoSwift ecosystem, including the RevoSwift Matte Box and 100x100mm magnetic filter system. With the RevoSwift Bridge Ring, you can mount 100x100mm or 100x150mm filters directly to the RevoRing MKII, expanding your creative options for both photo and video work.
The system also offers excellent stacking versatility, allowing you to combine magnetic filters with the VND + CPL setup without interrupting your workflow. Used together with the RevoSwift Matte Box, it becomes a highly adaptable platform for controlling light and refining image quality.
VND + CPL in One System
H&Y's RevoRing MKII continues the brand's innovative approach by combining a variable neutral density filter with a circular polarizer in a single product. The ND range from 1.5 to 10 stops gives you precise control over exposure, reflections, and color saturation, making it suitable for both stills and motion capture.
For focal lengths between 16 mm and 35 mm, it is recommended not to exceed a 5-stop reduction to help avoid the X-pattern effect. If you need even stronger ND coverage, the system can be paired with a clip-on or plate ND filter using the appropriate adapters.
Premium Optics and Coatings
The RevoRing MKII VND + CPL is built from German Schott B270 glass and finished with advanced anti-reflection and nano coatings. Multiple coating layers on both sides help improve light transmission while reducing flare and unwanted reflections.
An anti-fingerprint and water-resistant nano coating also makes the filter easier to maintain. In addition, Japanese Nitto polarizing film delivers polarization efficiency up to 99.9% for impressive image clarity.
