Ilford Rapid Fixer 5 Liter: A Fast and Non-Hardening Solution

The Ilford Rapid Fixer 5 Liter is a swift, non-hardening fixative solution that comes as a liquid concentrate which needs to be diluted with water prior to its application. It's incredibly simple and convenient to use and is highly effective at a temperature of 18°C for setting black and white films and paper. Its versatility makes it ideal for all manual and machine processing applications. Please note, the Ilford Rapid Fixer should not be used in conjunction with fixative hardeners.

The main component of this fixer solution is ammonium thiosulfate, and it's worth noting that it does not contain sodium thiosulfate (commonly referred to as 'hypo').
