The Leofoto DY-40 Dolly turns a monopod into a steady, flexible support system for studio work and video production. It is a smart choice for lightweight camcorders and mirrorless cameras when you need smooth handling and dependable stability for interviews, product shots, or livestreams.

Simply replace the monopod’s rubber foot with the DY-40 and it becomes a three-legged base that offers greater balance on flat surfaces. The three rubberized wheels each feature their own brake, helping keep your setup firmly in place when working on smooth floors.

Flexible design for studio setups

The wheels can be removed quickly with the included tool, transforming the dolly into a compact tabletop support in no time. The legs lock at three different angles: fully flat for the lowest shooting position and maximum stability, or at two upright angles for added height. For transport, the legs fold neatly alongside the monopod to save space.

Multiple threaded mounting points in 1/4", M5, and M6 give you room to add accessories such as LED lights, cable holders, or counterweights, making it easy to build a custom studio configuration.

Built with precision

Leofoto manufactures the metal parts from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with magnesium and silicon, a strong and corrosion-resistant material known for excellent durability. Each component is CNC-machined from solid material for a precise, rigid finish that offers more stability than cast parts.
