The Praktica super TL 1000 is a solid M42-mount 35mm SLR manufactured by Pentacon in East Germany during the late 1970s. Known for its straightforward design and mechanical reliability, it offers full manual control, a built-in TTL light meter (through-the-lens), and a vertical metal-blade shutter that works without batteries — batteries are only needed for the meter.

This version comes with the Domiplan 50mm f/2.8 Automatic lens (SN: 10385895), a compact three-element lens that's lightweight and capable of producing soft vintage rendering, especially wide open. A great starter kit for analog photographers or collectors of Eastern Bloc gear.

Used – Good condition
Camera and lens are in good working order. Shutter fires on all speeds. Light meter responds to light (battery not included). Lens (SN: 10385895) has clean glass with no fungus or haze. Focus is smooth; aperture blades are oil-free and responsive. Viewfinder is reasonably clean. Some signs of use on the body, but no major damage.
