The SmallRig MagEase Magnetic VND Filter Kit ND2-ND32 (1-5 stop) 52mm 4215 consists of two circular polarizing filters (CPL's) that are designed to layered and rotated to decrease light intensity and achieve a balanced exposure time. The inner polarizer adheres to the SmallRig filter adapter ring via a magnet, facilitated by a support placement ring, while the outer-rated polarizer can be adjusted using an aluminium-alloy ring, permitting light reduction ranging from 1-5 stops.
Notably, the filter is manufactured from German Schott B270i HD glass and features water-resistant, stain-resistant, mildew-resistant and scratch-resistant AR coatings. The quality of these coatings guarantees less color shift. Additionally, it comes with a machine-engineered ultra-thin frame. The large diameter filter protects against vignetting even when framing with an ultra-wide-angle lens. Thanks to its magnetic feature and its secure base anti-distortion design, shooting accuracy can be controlled between a series of hard stops at ND2 and ND32.
