The SmallRig 5257 Cage is designed to add reliable protection and practical mounting options to your Nikon Z5II setup. Built for a secure fit, it helps protect your camera from bumps and scuffs while keeping full access to essential controls, ports, the tilting screen, and battery compartment.
Secure and camera-friendly design
This full cage uses a three-point locking system with a 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom and two side locating blocks to keep the camera firmly in place and reduce movement. Protective pads inside the cage help prevent scratches during use.
Extensive accessory mounting options
With multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting points, plus ARRI-style locating holes, the cage gives you plenty of ways to expand your rig. It supports accessories such as side handles, top handles, monitor mounts, tripods, power bank holders, and mini V-mount battery plates.

Built for flexible rigging
Additional mounting points on the side make it easy to add rod clamps, magic arms, or extra handle options. The left side also features a HawkLock NATO rail for rapid accessory installation and removal.
Power and handling support
For longer shooting sessions, the cage can be paired with optional V-mount battery plates and V-mount batteries. A built-in dual wrench at the bottom also makes assembly and removal more convenient.
