The SmallRig 5536 Adapter Plate is a versatile power solution for cameras and other production equipment. It can be mounted to a V-mount plate or attached using the 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the underside, and it supports one or two NP-F batteries for reliable on-set power.
When two batteries are installed, the hot-swap design helps keep your setup running by letting you replace one battery while the connected devices stay powered. That makes it a practical choice for uninterrupted shooting and continuous power management.
Multiple Outputs for Different Devices
With D-Tap, DC 5521, and USB-C output options, this adapter plate can power several devices at once. The connector layout is designed to avoid interfering with camera operation or top handles, keeping your rig clean and easy to use.
The USB-C port also supports up to 36W input, so the plate can double as a charging station when needed.
Smart Battery and Charging Control
An integrated intelligent management chip helps optimize both discharge and charging performance. During discharge, it prioritizes the battery with the lower charge level first. When voltage drops, it switches to parallel output to support hot-swapping and power-hungry devices.
During charging, the system first charges the battery with the higher remaining charge before moving to simultaneous charging for improved efficiency. Separate LED indicators for each channel provide a quick view of battery status.
Simple Operation
A dedicated power switch makes the plate easy to control. Press once to check status and turn output on, or hold for 2 seconds to shut off all connected devices at once. This simplifies operation and helps conserve power after a shoot.
