The SmallRig 5543 Mobile Video Cage is a professional mobile rig designed specifically for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, giving creators a powerful setup for video production, livestreaming, and short-form filmmaking. It combines a protective phone case, a sturdy video cage, and a soft TPU bumper for a flexible and secure shooting experience.
The included case comes with both a T-mount back plate and a 17mm threaded lens mount, making it easy to attach external lenses. For even more creative control, the T-mount plate can be swapped for a separately sold 67mm magnetic filter adapter to enhance optical performance.
The phone can stay inside the case while mounted in the cage, allowing for fast setup changes. Multiple 1/4"-20 anti-twist mounting points and cold shoe mounts give you plenty of options for adding accessories such as handles, tripods, microphones, and lights. Classic quick release interfaces also support efficient handheld and tripod workflows.
Side strap slots are compatible with professional wrist and shoulder straps under 2 mm in diameter, helping you work hands-free between shots. The open design keeps access to all key iPhone functions, including buttons, ports, the radar system, the ultra-wide camera, and wireless charging.
A secure quick-lock mechanism makes attaching and removing the phone fast and reliable, while helping prevent accidental release.
