Built from a durable one-piece design, it wraps securely around the camera while keeping all essential controls, card slots, the vari-angle screen, and battery compartment easy to access.
Soft silicone padding helps prevent scratches and ensures a snug, secure fit. The cage mounts firmly with a 1/4"-20 screw at the base and dual side locating blocks, offering dependable stability for demanding photo and video work.
Fast, tool-free accessory mounting
SmallRig’s HawkLock quick release system makes setup faster and more convenient. With one-button self-locking and bidirectional mounting, you can attach or remove compatible accessories quickly without extra tightening or tools.
H21 NATO rail interfaces on the top and both sides allow rapid attachment of optional top handles, monitor mounts, or magic arms, helping you build a versatile shooting setup in seconds.
Flexible expansion for any rig
Multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and locating points give you plenty of room for accessories such as side handles, monitor supports, and articulating arms. The right-side handle area also includes two horizontal 1/4"-20 threads for tripod mounting, improving balance and stability during vertical shooting.
An integrated cold shoe mount is ready for microphones or fill lights, while strap slots and dedicated attachment points support wrist straps, shoulder straps, and QD quick-release straps for safer carrying.
Ready for tripod, gimbal, and handheld use
The built-in Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom lets you mount the cage directly onto Arca-type tripods and compatible DJI gimbals, including the RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro. This makes it easy to move between handheld shooting, tripod work, and gimbal operation without slowing down your workflow.
A dual-ended wrench is stored neatly underneath the cage for quick assembly and adjustments.
