Sirui VA-5X Video Head Translation and Overview

The Sirui VA-5X Video Head, complete with a side-loading plate system, relies on a fluid system to generate smooth panning and tilting for DSLR's and compact video cameras. Designed for durability, the system accommodates equipment up to 3kg in weight. A key highlight of this video head is the side-loading quick release plate that can be secured with a safety pin, regulated by a large adjustable drag handle. Other features include separate pan and tilt locks, a removable pan handle that is usable on both sides of the head, duo spirit levels, and a sturdy aluminium alloy structure.

The side-loading system is uniquely designed to allow one-handed mounting of your camera weighing up to 3kg. The quick-release mechanism includes a large handle to lock the safety pin securing the camera plate. The tightness of the handle lock can be fine-tuned using the included Allen key.

Enjoy a variety of shooting angles with the intentionally designed 360° pan range and a tilt range of -60 to 90°. The removable pan handle can be attached to either side of the head, making it suitable for both right and left-hand use.

Solid and sturdy, the VA-5X video head is manufactured from a sturdy aluminium alloy and features two built-in spirit levels.
